This is my latest work for World Module United Nation's world conference. The full project is organized and completed by Resonance Studio within a week.
I wrote the soundtrack, of course.
I tired to add some pentatonic scale into the song (五聲音階, 宮 商 角 徵 羽 ) in order to fill it with some soul of the hosting city - Taipei. It was not so easy to do so because what I wrote must follow the emotion of the video. (Well, sometimes, it's the editing following me. :P ) Time limit is another major challenge for me. I had to express three different feelings in the three phases of the film. (the innocence of baby, the pulse of city and people, and the beauty of dream and wishes ) And thank 博元 for his vocal support. You did a great job, dude. I dig your voice.
The water mark will be removed after my partners and I receive the full payment from the host team. And if they don't like it. ( How can they? LOL ) We'd sell it to somebody else.

"Gary Is A Robot" cover
剛參觀完蔡國強,回家先寫一篇網誌再說！
當然跟蔡國強沒關！ 沒有很喜歡說...
我很簡陋地重製了Amplive的 Gary Is A Robot
依照我的老習慣（壞習慣）
這也不是做的很完整的版本
因為沒有人rap實在是玩不下去啊！
和原作不同的是我加入了一些動態的元素
讓8-bit(八位元運算時代,現在電腦都32 or 64了...)的聲音聽起來更有活力
其實那個時代的電子音（超級瑪莉,任天堂紅白機,黑白Gameboy...等等）都有一種很簡約的力道
我很喜歡
我用Korg的nanoKontrol控制了一些Oct.（八度）和semi-tone(半音)的變化（還有一些其他啦里拉雜先忽略）,做出好像正在打電動的效果
Vocal是我自己唱的
使用的是Rode的NTG-2麥克風和Antares知名的Auto-tone效果器
製造一種很像嘻哈明星的感覺哈哈哈
如果我找得到人幫我rap的話會重混然後上傳吧？
先這樣嚕～ 等著過年哈哈哈～

The flow and the Submarine
Hi world! It's Hauer.
Just watched the movie "Julie & Julia"and I think starting a blog may be a good idea.I'm a music lover!Also like sports and watching movies.I started a studio with my friend recently; it's called Resonance.(Our site may be online soon!)Trying to make a living by making music and short films!(Or movies! If possible....)I produce my own beats,most of them are TRANCE or Electronica tracks.But occasionally, I drop classic beats :P
Here's one of my latest work.It's called The flow and the submarine. (The link will lead to my YouTube.) It's actually a cover (well, remix, maybe) inspired by one of my favorite independent artists - Ronald Jenkees's beat: "Messing with a guitar sound". (Or just "Guitar sound") I strongly recommend you go watch his channel on YouTube:

Anyway, I am trying to create a technical feeling here, sort of under water stuff, avoiding to use any sound that you may hear in the real world. The sonar sound, my favorite, comes from a sample. I imaging the melody flow flows with the water while making this track. The mixing and mastering is not yet perfect but I can't wait to share it with you guys. (It's only been a day since I started this project.) Maybe I will go add a bridge or some states automation latter on and make it juicier! Oh! I also make a backdrop for it using Windows Paint! No sh*t! LOL The idea is base on Anjunadeep's album. It's a great label. Google that!
Ok, I guess I better go wake my roommate up so here's all for today!
